Default Euro 300C gets 155 MPH limiter!

Due to the measly low speed H-Rated Continental tire we are getting in the US the 300C and Magnum RT will have a 126 MPH Speed Limiter (SL). H-Rated tires are max at 130 MPH. The Euro export version gets a better Pirelli tires and the SL is set at 155 MPH. Now I really don't want a early production Magnum with that low speed limiter and without the Tire Pressure Monitor System. I was already pissed that no HID option was on the Magnum. Now I may wait for the SRT-8 version or hope for a Magnum RT Sport with a better tire and no SL.

From Motor Trend:

"The Pirelli tires used on Euro-market cars allow a top speed of 155 mph versus the speed-governed 126 mph for U.S.-market 300C Hemis."

Pic of Euro 300C wheel with Pirelli Tires:

Speaking of the SRT-8, any possibility that it could come out this fall? Are they holding back until AWD is available?

I am definitely holding out for the SRT-8 until I have confirmation otherwise.

SRT-8 ...WILD or MILD (just under estimating again)?

0-60 mph: 4.8 seconds
0-100 mph: 12.9 seconds

1/4 mile: 13.4 seconds @ 104 mph

I would be very suprised to see an SRT-8 in 2005. If so then that means a supercharger for the Hemi. And if that's the case, I will be able to buy one and put it on my RT. I find this possible but not very probable.

Regards in using a supercharger versus the Hemi 6.1, I would opt for the SC unit. Easily modded to the owners delight versus normal aspirated.
