Hey guys I just got back from break in Fort Lauderdale and after seeing soo many nice cars, I decided to take a ride to a dealership I used to work at as well as my father used to be the manager of for about 10years. Upon arriving someone pulled in behind me and parked next to me in a blue 300. I got out and started looking at it, the manager-a friend of the families- came out and said "You gotta take that thing for a spin!". I had just seen it in the Fort lauderdale auto show and it looked really sharp. Anyways, to the good part, I asked him if it was quick, and he said off the line it felt sluggish for a second then took off like a "Bat outta hell". So I get in and start it up, and notice the engine growl-window was down. I pull out onto the street and punch it, this thing MOVES. The tires spun a little as I was turning but then just went. It was extremely smooth in its ride, which you can feel the weight, but around turns it handled very well. From a stop I stomped on it and once again it took off, I didn't notice any hesitation. Chrysler estimates a 0-60 time of around 6 seconds or something, but this thing honestly feels like a high 5 second car, if not mid 5's. I was extremelly impressed as were everyone else who drove it that day. Oh yeah, in one day this car had 180 miles on it, just from one day of test drives. People were coming in with brand new Lexus LS430's, Bimmers, Mercedes, and a guy with a Jag came in. All of them said they couldn't believe this car was such a nice car for only $30G's-Basically half of the cost of their cars. Anyways, I thought I'd share my experience.
I agree, that's what drew me to the car in the first place. It looks like a Bently from the front. Also E55 KEV, have you had any issues with your tranny? Have you heard of any issues with it?
It was slightly hesitant, but for about a split second then it took off. This car feels so much lighter when you punch the gas, but is smooth as silk. I believe it has a mercedes rear end also, I may be wrong, but all the good stuff is from Mercedes and the heart is Pure Hemi . They had it at Central Motors in Norwood, if anyone is from around the area and wants to take it for a spin. Its a dark powder blue color with tan interior, very sharp.

This Mercedes transmission has been in just about every Benz since 1998 model year. So it is probably a tried and true unit. Take in consideration that it is not actually a German built Mercedes unit but a version built in the U.S. Have not heard about any issues with it.
They all seem to hesitate and then take off like the a Bat Out Of Hell!
