300C: Uses MB AMG parts or not?

I've heard from at least one source that the 300C (not the other 300's) uses the suspension, brakes, and transmission from the AMG E55, not just the regular E-class. Does anyone have any reliable confirmation/denial of this? I'd love to know. Mine 300C's on order, ETA about 4 weeks they say (damn sunroofs!)

There are no AMG parts in a 300C. Actually, the parts share similar designs and technology, not the actual parts. The 5-Speed tranny is not an actual Mercedes Part - it is a Transmission built on a similar design in Kokomo, Ind. The rear suspension is a similar designed 5-Multi-Link type.

The 5-speed tranny will also be used in the V6 AWD models so I doubt they will waste a high-torque unit on 250HP with a tranny better than the one in the E320 4-Matic.

Also the Chrysler 300 and Magnum design is more related to the previous W210 E-Class and W203 C-Class.
