Default Help In Iraq-durango Light Problem

I am still in IRAQ, and we just got a "new" 2004 Dodge Durango. I know it is no SRT but figured you guys would know better than the rest. After all...you guys helped me fix many problems with my srt4. Anyway...the things lights and anything requiring power has just stopped working. It was working fine for two weeks and then no lights, horn..etc. Even the radio wont work. A message on the radio is promting me for an antitheft code. Could this have shut down all my power? The truck runs fine. The keyfob unlocks doors and ignition starts. Just no lights horn radio etc. Any ideas? The fuses look good to my Iraqi mechanics. Need help ASAP.

sounds like you might have triggered the anti theft system for the stereo... in side your manual there is a key pin to dial in the radio to rest this.. brows through your manual

There are a couple things common to the durango in 2004. One is that the IOD fuse in the PDC under the hood gets put in part way. When you push it in, in snaps twice, and most people only press it in one click. PDI guys dont' always get it. There is also an issue with SKIM that will present itself and is taken care of by a flash update. This will usually cause a no start. Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting will get it started again, but you still will need to get the software updated with the StarScan. There is a TSB for THAT issue.

Check and push in or replace the IOD fuse first. That is MOST likely it.

thanks..will try at first light. thanks will let ya no. Hope that is it cause we live on an Iraqi military base with no access to scan tools. I will say that the Iraqis are the best at bodging shit together to make anything run. They already want to Iraqnicize our truck and "make" all the lights run. It would be criminal to do it to such a nice truck though. Their work looks like shit. But is usually works. Thanks again.
