wow! looks like my thoughts on the 05 dakota has come true! theres no excitement going on here. just before the new dakota came out this dakota area of srt forums was a buzzin..............seems weird to see it so dead. well we where excited with the idea that dc was gonna do a hemi dakota.......not !!! so sad, ive been watchingthe new vehicle sales and to be honest ,i have not seen 1 new 05 dakota on the road registered to a buyer........WAKE-UP D/C!!!!
Last I heard it's probably going to be a 4.7 with blower/turbo.
Wouldn't be too bad since they are releasing a new 300HP NA 4.7. Throw a pwoer adder on there for some fun. I also hope they use the SRT introduction to introduce a RC model.
I am also still hoping for a Hemi Dak. Slightly tweaked 5.7 Hemi to 350hp and 360tq anyone.

yep i think your right, turbo 4,7 srt optionally. but i hope the new turbos are better than the wastegate probs they had on the older 4 cyl. daytonas. have you seen any new 05 dakotas on the road yet? i looked into the dealerships here, and they still have the same ones on the lot they had when first introduced!
5.7L Hemi won't fit without some major modifications. It was in Car & Driver awhile back.
