Default SPY PICS: 2005 Dodge Dakota

I know many of us have been impatient for the pics but I can only thanks for some insider in giving the location for a photo shot of the next Dakota. Looks like no R/C....confusing!!

Codenamed ND, the next Dodge Dakota will carry over Ram styling cues and may even sport a brand new name. Details are few on the new truck, although it’s expected that it will again share much of its chassis with the new Dodge Durango coming this fall.

Pictures here include Quad Cab models with four full-size doors, as well as the Club Cab version.

Holy chit. Hard to say what it looks like with all the cover ups.

Hmmm, I thought the Extended cab was going to be no more? Getting ride of the RC makes more sense to me, isn't alot of room in my truck.

I wonder what engines they're going to slam in there, as long as it has (\/)oPower than the 360!

Anyone notice the wheels are 5 lug now? They look like 16's or 17's

Now the CC has "ridges" on the roof like the quad has?

Side views look better.

As long as there isn't all this BS plastic body cladding i'll be happy.

P.S. You the man hemidakota

Looks like Chrysler is going with low cut windows on all the vehicles. The 300 and the Crossfire's windows are just under most peoples heads!

I thought it was supposed to be smaller and lighter (than the current heavy tanks)? It might just be me, but that looks pretty big. And only 5 lugs? Might finially have a decent selection of aftermarket wheels . Not much to see from the spy pix (with all the covers) but two doors (regular cabs) still look best

Update: look closely at the front grill. What does it remind you of on a current production vehicle? Now think smaller....

Not based on the Durango frame. Totally a new frame by a supplier to DC. Smaller than the current production but bigger than the M80.

Will get the HYDRO-FORM frame which means LIGHTWEIGHT.

that's a cool pic, I'm sure 90% of that will make it into production.

You are looking at the production model.

This will be an early release...think GM and the mid weight Colorado release.

They were planning to show it in New York but never made it and instead it went from concept to production.

Now....there maybe a name change coming. I don't know why or who, but it seems looking into the name patents from DC, there are several being added this year.

I been hunting down the BIG MOLE from Car-truck and finally found who this person is. However, during the search, I discovered they are networked together from design to production and amount of wealth these guys have is totally unbelievable.

I had to beg on the SPY SHOT Dakota and someone leaked the information to Brenda on the location of the two truck testing. I just left a few thanks....with these

Not only that, I found a GM designer who knows what is happening on the Gm side. Not only DC is releasing a hord of new vehicles but GM is planning the same.
