History:

Introducing the new 2005 Dodge Dakota T/A created by the Performance West Group Design Team. Inspired by the legendary 1970 Challenger T/A, the new Dakota T/A offers all of the performance and excitement of its classic counterpart, but in a thoroughly modern package. Glistening in House of Kolor Plum Crazy, one of the most unforgettable High Impact colors to ever grace a Dodge, and accented with a white T/A body side graphic, the Dakota T/A is one vehicle that's sure to get noticed…..a block away! And with its bold Dodge Magnum V8 badge, everyone will know that the Dakota T/A is no shrinking violet.

Adding to the image of the Dakota T/A is an audacious Six Pak hood scoop by RKSport that is based on the original design. Black anodized diamond wire mesh serves as the background accent for the chrome grille shell. Additional exterior enhancements include a Gaylord's Lid and Classic Design Concepts hood pins. The Dakota T/A features suspension mods by Advantage Performance for a "just right stance," complemented by a set of Oasis multi piece Alloy Wheels, Toyo Proxes S/T tires and a Stainless Steel Brakes disc brake enhancements.

Inside the Dakota T/A, a Katzkin custom leather interior continues the theme of the original, matching style with comfort. Engine performance enhancements complements of Kenne Bell provide additional power for the already potent 4.7 liter engine, a Magnaflow cat back dual exhaust system insures free breathing.

The original Challenger T/A had all the excitement of a championship TransAm car and has become a coveted collector vehicle. Now watch out, 'cause the 2005 Dodge Dakota T/A picks up where the original left off, while adding 21st century technology and sophistication.
