I was looking for the M80 platform code also, to check to see if a powerplant exist for that model.

Now, does this give us hope with a 5.7 Hemi Dakota?

I went back to the car-truck archives digging and Buzz was quoting a Hemi Dakota for 05. I know that Keitho really knows and tell us if this is true or not.

Or, I must contact my buddy to gain inside information. LOL

Anything with a "D#" designation is for the Ram. HB=Durango. ND=Dakota. NB=Mitsubishi verison of the Dakota, and 99.999% sure it's a releasing error or typo. Should read 4.7, not 5.7. Ask yourself this, with all the buzz for the Hemi, why would it be released in the Mitsubishi version first?

Hmm...have to agree with that one. Should I wait for a Hemi Dakota over the MegaCab? LOL

The problem is the EZ designator is the 5.7 Hemi Engine.

EV is the 4.7 designator.

Engine - 4.7L Power Tech V8 WH
Engine - 4.7L Power Tech V8 WJ
Engine - 4.7L Power Tech V8 WK
Engine - 4.7L Power Tech V8 XK
Engine - 4.7L Power Tech V8 YH

EVB Engine-4.7L V8 Multiple Displacement (All)

EVC Engine - 4.7L Ho V8 Mpi (All)

Engine - 4.7L Power Tech Ho V8 WG

Engine - "Magnum" 4.7L V8 Ffv DR

EVE Engine - 4.7L V8 Dohc 3 Valve (All)
EW0 Engines - All 8.0L Gas (All)

My question is, what is the M80 platform designator?

There isn't one. M80 isn't happening. Program cancelled.
