Alright, that's perfectly your call. If you tell people that parts are shipping Monday, and they dont ship until Wednesday and you think it's acceptable thats on you.

I certainly know where to take my business and hopefully others will agree. You dont deserve to be in business.

Look, this is not the first time I have read / heard about timeframes w/ PTP being manipulated/wrong. I'm not going to post the other instances. You gave refunds, which was somewhat noble. But instead of making this a huge argument, why not see what the root of the problem was (communication) and see how PTP as a company can use this experience to better their customer service (once again, communication). Just a suggestion. By going back and forth with the two 'ex' customers, you are not helping your image amongst the forums. Even if you feel you have a valid point, it's just more drama attributed to PTP.

My 2 cents, take it or leave it...

Wow, that is an excellent post. Great information for any vendor and not negatory or attacking anybody.

D-roks turbo that was supposedly already "rebuilt" and "ready to ship" when he bought from srt4monster. a lie. granted it wasnt PTP's own personal product, but he took the initiative to step in and take care of the situation, and lied about it on many occasions. for a turbo that was ready to ship, drok was stuck turbo-less for 2months.

s2r0t044...he ordered products from john since from what he and the site said, were "in stock". a week later, he finds out some are on backorder w/ no ETA of when theyll be avail. it'd be nice if they told him upfront, because now hes waiting to get shit installed till it comes.

kaz109 sent ptp his TB to get a simple leak fixed, and he ended up w/ no TB for what...1-2 months, w/ zero updates, and zero notification.

john has many a times in his section take things out of perspective, act as if he is the victim, bitch about it. there were MANY times where my posts were not negative in any way, i was just stating the facts, and he'd get smart with me/and others.

he does not know how to talk to, or treat his customer base. he bitches and whines, lies and makes stuff up. then when he gets put on blast, he always comes out acting as the defenseless victim. and ive never personally seen a vendor/business owner backlash and yell/curse at their customer or people for that matter.

show him the $$$, and he has ANYTHING and everything in stock and willing to tell you anything you want to make you believe his products are superior to anyone.

ive bought ptp products purely for the products quality, and at one point his customer service, since it was actually quite good a while back. now; not so much...

im just adding my, and MANY other local's bad incidents with PTP, and hope philth and confusion get taken care of promptly.

d-rok was not my deal.
site says out of stock, if you order it when its out of stock it states that you will be notified when we get it, again not my problem. Read before you buy.
Kaz's t-body is still here I think. Have him send it with a note next time, makes things go a little quicker if I know whos, whats and whys about a part. Put a part in a box with no info, you get nothing in return.

If you show me the money I will refund it if you have a problem, so your point on that is wrong. Next, the customer is my number 1 priority. I talk with them all the time, this is one occation that parts were delayed 2 days, that some how makes me the bad guy? 2 day delay? Shit, I am the asshole now.

Mike you have been a real ass lately and I have voiced my opinion on it, your in here because you didn't like it. So be it, your still not someone that I consider a customer for the fact that I am still recovering from all the great deals I gave you with no results in return. Your in here because you can be but you have nothing negitive to say about me, only your friends. Get your friends to explain the whole story to you and maybe you will get more then 25% of the story.

You know it is so funny that you want to put blame on everyone. When you PM'd me I had all the boxes sitting here ready to ship, so I assumed yours would be one of them. I do not pull paypal until right before I ship them, but you know you could have been a BIG BOY and said I know my payment hasn't cleared, is it still going to ship today or just had the common sense to know that when I did check paypal your order was obviously not going to ship until your check cleared. I have never seen two people act so immature over a two day delay, and Philth I haven't heard one word from you about when your kit was shipping until today, you just decided to jump on the bandwagon with Noisufnoc. Like I told you guys before if bashing me makes you two feel better, and more like a man, go for it.

It is indeed a good post. I am extremely irritated at the way the situation was handled and it's always good to have someone not involved in the situation come in and express their opinion. It's part of the reason why I posted this thread.

You just don't get it do you?

You delayed the shipment 2 days without notifying your customers. I was led to believe that the part had shipped on Monday, which would mean that I would have it in my hands by Friday. Friday is the only time I have to work on my car, until next Friday. I had planned this whole thing around the belief that the part would get here on time.

I guess for someone as big as you 2 days is not a big deal, but for the little guys like me that have a very small window of free time to wrench, its a huge deal.

Vendors should not make assumptions. Period.

I asked you when my order would ship. You said Monday. You gave me incorrect information. I made arrangements and plans based on your incorrect information. Now I'm pissed because I believed you.

Not bashing. Criticizing. There's a difference.

p.s. Philth has every right to be pissed too because this whole time i've been driving his daily driver while my car is down.

Should ship out and shipped are 2 different things.

No your missing the point, his payment cleared Tuesday and parts shipped Wednesday. What point am I missing, that my customer are held for zero blame when it comes to them determining when a payment should have cleared. Should ship out on Monday is what they were told, if there was no tracking for that then they didn't ship. I don't see how this could get confused but I will play for now.

As far a philth goes, his should have shipped last week, it didn't because we wanted to ship the lot of them on Monday, they didn't because of a mistake. Mistakes happen and with that comes delays. I am normally very good at pointing out any delays but making the assumptions that 2 days wouldn't be a big deal got me shot in the foot on these 2 people. I guess that picking up the phone and calling is a thing of the past.

You haven't heard one word from me because I am in communication with Mike everyday. He passed on to me what you told him. God forbid I don't load you with redundant messages I already know the answer to. And for the record once again, instant transfer from me so dont pull that "money hasnt cleared" card on me.

Im / we are not bashing you personally. The company you work for has some serious issues that need to be addressed. If you take it personal, that's actually good. It shows character and shows that you care about your work. Good luck to you in the future.

Mike, do not worry about it man. You can take all the time in the world. The car isn't an issue with me.

I can't believe you honestly are trying to defend yourself with that statement.

Okay, how `bout this scenario.

You're having a plumbing problem, your pipes are leaking. You call me, a plumber, and say "When can you be here". I say "Oh, I should be there today" and I dont show up until three days later. Would you be pissed?

This whole situation could have been avoided if you would have made a little comment in your original thread saying that all the shipments were delayed due to a problem with the parts. Also, you should actually check your records before giving someone information. I'm willing to bet that mine probably would have shipped on Monday anyway, but because I'm making a stink about this you're bringing up the paypal problem.

besides the fact that if dustin's (PHILTH's) filter kit would have shipped on time it would have been installed on my car to get it back up and on the road. And I would have given him mine when my PayPal cleared.
