Oh I know about USPS John. Tell me why you charged me $50 (its been a while I think thats the amount) to send a charge pipe and cold side pipe to LAS FUCKING VEGAS.

Then your charge Toof $12 to send to an APO!?!

HAHA!!!

I understand your statement about not shipping the parts until the payment cleared. Which is 100% correct, I dont expect some vendor who has no idea who I am to advance me some parts while my 50 bucks clears in the system. However, I do believe that you guys need to get your act together over there. One of two things should have happened when I asked "The office gal" about my order. She should have either checked my paypal and said that since my payment hadn't cleared yet it wouldn't ship until it does. Or she should have involved you or someone else that could have determined that paypal information for her, and told me that it wouldn't ship until it cleared. Instead you had a representative of your company giving incorrect information to your customers.

Wait, so we need to check if your payment has cleared? Putting all the blame on us? We get 100's of payments every month so checking them for every customer would be time consuming. How about you do some leg work and find out of the payment has cleared before you call? Silly me for thinking that "you doing something" to find out if your parts are shipping before payment or prior to payment would be foolish. I guess that makes it my fault, great.

Incorrect information happens all the time, just read through the forums here. You had to know that there is a 5 to 10 day delay time when you do and echeck, you should have know that there were going to be delays. Since we are cutting hairs here, what is the big ass deal about 2 days or for that mater one day. I mean come on, you have a responisbility just as much as us for verifying payment.

Thanks man.

Not to drag Aaron into this, but he had recommended that I buy the PTP part over DCR's due to the better design.

ive had my share of tension w/ PTP.

he makes great products imo, but his cust. service and lack of keeping people up to date SUCKS.

D-roks turbo that was supposedly already "rebuilt" and "ready to ship" when he bought from srt4monster. a lie. granted it wasnt PTP's own personal product, but he took the initiative to step in and take care of the situation, and lied about it on many occasions. for a turbo that was ready to ship, drok was stuck turbo-less for 2months.

s2r0t044...he ordered products from john since from what he and the site said, were "in stock". a week later, he finds out some are on backorder w/ no ETA of when theyll be avail. it'd be nice if they told him upfront, because now hes waiting to get shit installed till it comes.

kaz109 sent ptp his TB to get a simple leak fixed, and he ended up w/ no TB for what...1-2 months, w/ zero updates, and zero notification.

john has many a times in his section take things out of perspective, act as if he is the victim, bitch about it. there were MANY times where my posts were not negative in any way, i was just stating the facts, and he'd get smart with me/and others.

he does not know how to talk to, or treat his customer base. he bitches and whines, lies and makes stuff up. then when he gets put on blast, he always comes out acting as the defenseless victim. and ive never personally seen a vendor/business owner backlash and yell/curse at their customer or people for that matter.

show him the $$$, and he has ANYTHING and everything in stock and willing to tell you anything you want to make you believe his products are superior to anyone.

ive bought ptp products purely for the products quality, and at one point his customer service, since it was actually quite good a while back. now; not so much...

im just adding my, and MANY other local's bad incidents with PTP, and hope philth and confusion get taken care of promptly.

But if a customer asks "hey has my part shipped" a vendor should give accurate information. Period.

And I have mentioned over and over again, I made the mistake of taking the default payment method which happened to be eCheck

Ok John so on the topic of PayPal. I sent you an instant transfer. Mike sent you a e-check. Why did both of our parts ship the same day then? Sounds like "money clearing" is not an issue here...

We both sent the money the same day of last week, so why does it matter on who is sending what? Every person Ive sent money to on PayPal hasnt hassled me with this payment clearing nonsense; ever.

The real issue is that your company failed to communicate to the customers what was happening WHEN it was happening. Had you told us that as soon as you found out, we could have started working on something to get his car up and running in the mean time.

Thank you.

Well yours cleared, his didn't??? Ask him what the deal was, not me. I can not see his PP account only he can.

So what happened? We had the wrong filters come in, didn't catch if for 3 days, got the new ones in 2 days later and now we are all good. So this is all about 5 days of waiting? Or more or less 2 days if you don't count the weekend. I failed becaue I had a 2 day delay? Again I will state that there are some customers that you can make happy and others that you can not. Very informative and makes me rest better because I KNEW I wasnt the only one with problems on the topic of customer service.

Should ship and shipped are 2 totaly different things. Did someone tell you that it had in fact shipped? No, they said it should ship out on Monday.

Accurate info is what we need from you as well, with out this this is what happens.

Actually John, that's customer service. And technically it was a two day delay, not one (stated to ship out Monday, actually shipped out Wednesday). I wasn't going to get involved in this, but you are missing the point. They were told one thing (shipping Monday), when in fact reality was another (shipped Wednesday). Now that may not sound like a big deal (two days), but don't you get upset when you are told something that isn't true?

Look, this is not the first time I have read / heard about timeframes w/ PTP being manipulated/wrong. I'm not going to post the other instances. You gave refunds, which was somewhat noble. But instead of making this a huge argument, why not see what the root of the problem was (communication) and see how PTP as a company can use this experience to better their customer service (once again, communication). Just a suggestion. By going back and forth with the two 'ex' customers, you are not helping your image amongst the forums. Even if you feel you have a valid point, it's just more drama attributed to PTP.

My 2 cents, take it or leave it...

.::knock knock::. MCFLY!!!??!??

I accidentally sent you an eCheck, not an instant transfer...i'm getting tired of typing that fact.

You're office girl, OrangePTPGirl, told me it shipped. Had she said "Mike, Your damn payment hasn't cleared, stop PMing me" or something along those lines, I would have expected a delay. Instead she happily said that it was going to ship Monday, which led me to believe that it was. Funny how that works, believing a vendor when they tell you something about their product.
