Are you semi-retarded? I have never seen a block packaged that poorly...ever. They would have been better off shipping it with tissue paper taped to the corners and otherwise bare.

well just call the UPS 800 number and explain to them the situation with your tracking number and go from there, it's worth a shot.

1) anyone who ships with UPS knows they beat the shit out of the packages

2) even if shipping with someone who babied a package like it was their own offspring, it should have been packaged much better than that

3) Unfortunately, even if insured, UPS would say, "Inadequate Packaging" and deny the claim...have seen it multiple times

First I would like to say that was Fucked up. PTP has been wrong in almost every step while dealing with you.

#2 For future knowledge (in my opinion you should have at 23) You dont sign for a package that is beat to shit like that. I had a couple packages that have showed up looking like that and I tell the carrier i wont accept it looking like that. Then it would be between the shipper and the shipping company to replace your product. If this was signed for by a shop you are having the work done at they should have definitely known not to accept that.

Sorry for all the problems you have had.

This has been said before

PTP should surely have their vendor status removed, this is horrific.

On top of all this, I have had many MANY long winded posts to correct a lot of very bad info Jon has provided on this forum. I don't see anything positive from them being a member of this forum or having a vendors status.

Just my .02

lol, i ship $5000 PCB boards through UPS at my work and they arrive fine. granted we pack them to survive falling out of a plane, but you always pack that way anyways. this is definately more john's fault than UPS...

even if they deny the claim, at least he'll have record of "Inadequate Packaging" and can then go after john in the legal aspect if he so chooses to do.

THIS

but unfortunately what's done is done, so now he has to decide on how far he wants to take this.

posting a "fuck you" thread on the srtforums isn't going to help him or anyone.

john pays his vendor dues, he will remain a vendor.

IT does a do a lot of good for newer members who haven't been around to see the failures of Jon

And no, vendor status can be removed if the owners see fit, even if the dues are paid, so long as there is enough of a reason and support from other members.

Lets take a poll and find out...
