Default Nemo / Rage Tek

has anyone ordered something from rage-tek and had it just show up as promised? i hope so.

or is everyone repeatedly told their stuff has been shipped when it hasn't?

anyway, that's what happened to me.

...then i dealt with this unhelpful dimwit 'shea' because i couldn't get through on the phones to the shop (shea of course told me the stuff was shipped).

no one could supply a tracking # (???).

got through on the shop phone and talked to nemo who wanted me to call back when his shipping person was there (?).

he finally looked into it and found my stuff was not shipped.

then 'shea' felt i was mean to him so nemo sent me a nasty pm (brilliant). then some 'admin' i'd never heard of sends me a nasty pm. i replied 'post what you found inappropriate or get lost' (nothing inappropriate was said).

now my old username is banned when, if anything, i should get an apology.

first bad business transaction on my 3 years on the forums, and i'm into aftermarket parts to the tune of $8,000.00.

unbelievable and inexcusable.

So you know (and it just my point of view) Theres vendors on here that really excel at parts shipment and have the customer service part down pat better then others.

From buying a lot of stuff on here I can tell you that the ones that seem to meet delivery expectations are the ones who are more or less reselling whats already made.

If anything ordered has any kind of custom work or uniqueness about it or is not really a mas produced item then theres a chance you will not have the same buying experience as if you were buying something that could be bought from someplace like Jegs or Summit that only needs to be pulled from the shelf and packed up rather then made or modified.

I do not know what the exact details of you're transaction besides what you posted and do not want to know more since more will only bring more negative emotion, but try and fix things before going any further. Again, try again with a phone call before going further if you can..............as from experience in reading this kind of stuff I can tell you that threads like this do not resolve the hurt you feel where as another phone tomorrow morning may make things better.

the problems i have are that:

i thought the items were lost or stolen because i was told repeatedly 'they definitely shipped' in a bit of an arrogant manor (they didn't).

the only way i could get someone to check into it was to plead for tracking info because i wanted to pursue an investigation with usps (i know, good luck).

the pieces were 'in stock' when i ordered them, so custom build is not an issue.

I here you. Give them another call in the AM. I think I have seen that they have been shipping some items USPS priority.......tracking from USPS sucks till later on where as with UPS its live.

And Its possible that they shipped with the incorrect label......I have had other peoples orders from other vendors arrive to me.........and I have shipped out wrong myself = it happens sometimes even when you try real hard to do things 100% right, all you need is someone to interrupt you when you have 100 things to do and very little time.

Hopefully if you call in the AM with the attitude of getting things fixed or cleared up without blowing your cork (wrong or rightfully so) things will work out.

they have been telling me the same stuff......my clutch pedal pivot bushing has shipped 3 times now and got lost 2 times.

i also hear what your saying.

however, when deals get strange i get out.

waiting to see if dcr produces the lca - they're working on it.

dcr had much praise for nemo's lca bushings, btw.

At this point he will see this and respond, I do not work for Rage but I like Nemo and his products.

IF it was me I would call him in the AM before he gets tied up with the days activities and see what can be done.

been waiting for my TOB fork kit for a while now.. PM'd someone, told me they would look into it on monday.. about 5 or more mondays ago i believe.. PM'd again, then PM'd the higher person.. no reply yet.. my southbend clutch will probably be dead by the time i get this 350$ product..

Same here i just waited almost 2 months and got a refund and used another stock one. I ordered and they said was in stock. Then it was well we are out of stock and i was like so why do you have six that your selling on ebay......Long pause and then well there must be a mistake as he talks to an imaginary person in the background about the "stocking problem".

Dont get me wrong they do offer nice things but there shipping is kinda

Best thing to do is find somebody near them to go in personally and pick it up and ship it to you. Then again if you dont live in florida thats prolly not that easy.

don't mind waiting, but sucks when someone says something has shipped and it hasn't... repeatedly.

I got my AEM map adaptor in like a week so Im good. Was looking into a new turbo kit from them but after reading this Im not so sure.....

haha try waiting since feb with a torn apart motor, no ride around, and being told many times my pistons have been shipped out. I talked to shea to and he said he would help and when he didn't and I kinda snapped at him he said he couldn't help me and I had to talk to nemo. well it took me 3 weeks to call nemo which I did today and talked to him. He said he was still having issues with the pistons hitting the oil squirters. I thought when I ordered them they were only a 6 week wait max. now its what 4 months later. I am in nooo rush for them anymore as I had to order je 8:1 pistons so I'm patient again but it sure would have been nice to have the 6.9:1 in my engine instead of the gay je's. I also ordered an oil pump from them which it took a month in a half to get to me as well. I don't mean to complain or bash rage tek as I plan to buy their custom tranny in august just telling my story and its all the truth!!!!! I hope it all works out for you and keep trying to call them, nemo is the guy I would talk to to get things straight. good luck
