Default MSD Ignitions complete poo

so in the past month i bought 2 MSD coils, my first one was from a friend going to Iraq, brand new. made my car misfire like a mofo. i thought maybe somehow it got bad. he had it in his room for 3-4 months or so just never installed it. so i bought a new MSD coil and my car would start run till bout warm up temp 200 and just die.
MSD wants to give me credit. I WILL NEVER BUY MSD AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD ANY OF YOU!!. So if i have to take the credit and someone would want to buy something from them whether its a srt or stang or whatever let me know i will sell credit for 50 buck less than im getting. so 250 credit for 200.
Not really trying to sell anything, more less just venting. I know it works for some, but i feel time will tell

On the coil pack its a known issue for YEARS on their SRT application; that you either have one that works or one that dont and they usually DONT.

IBNZ your one of the lucky few.

in their defense (or poor product quality) i had found a tech article on coils burning out and it seams to fit almost perfect, it seems there are a few waste spark coils that do the same thing (GM style and ford dual) and its always low impedance primary coils (aftermarket performance stuff) well it was saying that if one of the plug wires is disconnected (its 1 coil for 2 outputs) it can actually burn the output lead and create an arch that will in short time kill that coil (or that half of the pack) and cause a failure for 2 cylinders ....sounds familiar to me

but in MSD's defense i have used their coil and had no problems BUT their wires were junk (boots and crimps were not properly assembled)

if i can find these articles why the F@#k cant MSD, i would love for them to release a "RACE" style super HO coil that can live in the srt4
