I had an Msd Coil For a little while now, And no problems I gun it on the highway everythings good get off the off ramp hit first go to hit second the car starts stumbling making horrible noises No power!!!!!!
Im thinking my engine is toast I freak out bring it to the garage me and a friend work on it and low and behold it was this shitty fucking worthless red piece of shit
FUCK MSD!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOCK COIL FTW
Sorry I needed to vent\ on a side note anyone wanna buy a MSD Coil?
Its been said many times. Although I only know of 2 forum members on here, one being a vendor that have had good luck with msd coil. But I agree with you stock coil FTW.
I had the same exact issue and contacted MSD regarding the problem awhile back. The problem is most likely NOT the MSD...it's the spark plug gap. Gap your plugs down to around .035-.032 or lower if needed and see if the issue resolved itself.

My plugs were gapped and then new ones installed and then new plug wires
I had mine for a month when it shit the bed on me..Then my wires shit the bed on me last summer when I drove to Mississippi..Thank god they have a Autozone down in the dirty...

it was the coil MSD COIL= FAIL
ME AND A TON OF OTHERS CANT BE WRONG
Lets not exaggerate...a ton? What is your current gap set at? I have been through 3 MSD coil packs without an issue. One on each of my 2 SRT-s and a spare I got from a friend that still worked and I sold it. My current one has no issues at all and I have the Nology Hotwires in place.
Like I said before...I contacted MSD directly. They walked me through all possibilities until we found the issue. If you are gapped at .032 then take it down to .030 or even less. I suggest you contact them and see if they can take the pack back to be tested. You may be surprised...but maybe you do have a bad pack. Their failure rate is LESS than 1% for ALL of their sales combined...I doubt that is a ton. Just FYI. Good luck anyway.
