Default modern performance...

ive recently bought an intercooler from mpx. i received it with a big dent in the top of the core. box had no signs of being dropped. i sent it back immediately only to call them 2 weeks later wondering where my intercooler was and to find out they are on back order. i was told it will be another week until they have them in stock. so 2 weeks until i get it!! BAD communication! seemed like a nice product but im not happy with how mpx handled this.

join the club spent 5k for engine parts and fuel parts got the wrong pistons, then when the motor was built and we went to fire it the TB was way off adjustment (car would hold 1800rpm and stick open all the time), and yesterday found out they sold me a faulty aeromotive FPR.... I dont think I will be purchasing from them again.

Well, granted I have never ordered anything like a intercooler from them, but MPx has been nothing but outstanding when i ordered anything from them.

What sucks about any sales or service company is that, no one can ever been 100%. Its unfortunate that it had to be you, but it happens.

i too have spent several thousands with modern performance and i had only one issue.....they sent me two front strut bars instead of one front and one rear.....so i sold one strut bar and kept the other

shit suddenly goes on backorder all the time....had you called them first before you sent the intercooler back it would have saved you this headache.....mpx wasnt expecting you to send the package back so how would they have known to warn you

anyway, dont focus on what happened....focus on how they handle it....customer service is what builds a companies reputation....as far as i know mpx has excellent customer service and still do....theyll take care of you im sure of it just be patient

I love modern performance and I've always been happy with them. However, I recently bought an MPx intercooler from them and it had a "dent" as well when I got it. I can tell it wasn't dropped because the box wasn't damaged at all. Also the "dent" didn't have any marks on it as if it was hit..it was just kinda warped in a two inch area. I looks like they just put it together with a warped bottom on it. It must have been manufactured that way. I just installed it anyway because the dent was not on the actual airflow portion of the intercooler. Also the dent only compressed the fins in the "dent" area a little bit, and the dent in the bottom plate wasn't dented deep enough to touch the bar next to it. It doesn't show when the front cover was put back on.

Never bought anything from them. never will. I once had setup a cart to be ordered but I didn't have the cash yet. I ended up finding a good deal on the parts used so I didn't buy from them. I got a call two weeks later from MP asking how I was doing and blah blah blah.. When I told them I had bought them elsewhere, the guy on the phone got pissy and told me to make sure I took it out of my cart the next time because they'd done so and so or whatever and was holding the item for me. I didn't like the attitude and was like... whatever. Won't deal with them again.

as some have said, great inventory, many parts and products, but terrible customer support!

I have made many orders, spent thousands on them (S3 etc), and still when they have messed up my orders, 2 or 3 times, did not get any response

Last time was my last order from them, I prefer to pay a little more, and get some customer suport, and people that take the time to check if what they are shipping is the order.

I've ordered 4 sets of springs, 2 TBE, and 2 intercoolers from them and got them 2nd day shipping without a problem. Sorry for your problem but no one is perfect.

Well guys i dont know what to tell ya . Ive had a couple of issues with modernperformance in the past and shit. And let me tell ya i had the issue with the intercooler being on back order because its a remarkable product for the price.

And modernperformance cant keep up with the orders on supply and demand as quick as people are ordering tehm because of the fact they are the leading sellers in srt4 aftermarket parts imo period. But if you have any issues aside from the person thats taking orders and you got a serious problem.

You gotta make the attention known to the (HNIC) head, nucca,in charge and he goes by the name of Cory. Hell take care of you fast and resolve it to your satisfaction and that includes updating you wherever you are even if your at work or whatever hell leave a message if you dont answer but he will get the job done. I know most of my shit got taken care of im sure hell help you out any way he can.
