Default K&N SUCKS! And so does Sherri.

My girlfriend bought me an intake for Christmas.
I wanted to do a little research so I sent a request
to K&N for specs on the tubing used. All I asked was
what diameter the tube was.......Here is the response.

Quote:
Dear Jake,

Thank you for your interest in K&N products. K&N does not give that information out to the public. Thank you for writing and have a great day.

Sherri Sxxxx<--edited for safety

Customer Service Agent

Hey thanks Sherri, didn't want you to reveal such "Secret" information.

.....Here is MY response.

Quote:
Hey thanks....Maybe I'll shove the K&N I bought up your fucking ass then.
I'm going to post your response in my forum and hope NOBODY buys another
one of your POS intakes. I am also SELLING mine.

Learn some customer service idiot.

Thank you for responding and have a nice day.

K&N SUCKS! and so does their customer service.

I was there....
It was the 80s. FDR was in the white house and Nixon was running this country into the ground.

K&N intakes are the smallest in the market, i bought both a K&N and AEM and the K&n is so small it will slide easily inside the AEM intake....

Ok Lemme make sure i got this right?

You get the worst intake EVER for the SRT-4. You ask if they will give you the specs. They tell you Sorry they don't share that info, so you send an email to a random tech support person telling them you are gonna shove the intake up their ass?

Dude you need to grow up!!! Sheesh. Why would they tell you the specs of the intake? You think Col Sanders will tell you what makes his Chicken so Crispy and delicious?

In my opinion you are the ass! not K&N

Why didn't you just ask someone that already has one to measure it for you?

When I originally purchased it I thought K&N made the
Mopar intake. I knew the Mopar was 3".

The deal Performance Autowerks gave me was awesome
so I jumped on it.

I posted a few days after saying I was excited I got the
K&N and could not wait to install it. I got mixed information
explaining just what diameter the K&N was.

I'm not pissed I didn't get the right one, I'm frustrated at the
total disrespect I was shown from K&N.

I shouldn't HAVE to ask board members for the correct specs.
K&N should post that info on their site. It almost feels like they
don't want people to know their intakes are not 3". I didn't
ask what composition the metal is....I asked how big the tubing
is.

you are aware that AEM manufactures the MOPAR intakes for them, right? and that the MOPAR units are therefore the exact same as the AEMs, which are cheaper? just checking
