I had to use a worm gear clamp on mine because the t bolt clamp caused a boost leak. Just boost leak test everything after install.

about a year ago I found some metal mesh at home depot, it was made for keeping leaves out of rain gutters. So I bought two pieces of it, cut it too size, and painted it black. I did this mainly cause I was tired of having a dented ic from rocks getting through the stock mesh(cause the holes are pretty big).
Thats good to hear about the godspeed fmic. I ask a guy here who has one he said its fine.I dont know if it will take over 400 hp not that Im even near that. I dont know if e-bay or godspeed can catch it but there is a lot of me to fake stuff out there. If it helps I got the 200 buck cross drilled slotted rotors from e-bay have over 100.000 miles on them they work perfect way better then stock real good in the rain. Dont mean to jack the subject but in case you folks were wondering and looking at them also. Thumbs up on the FMIC that helps me out!!!

I thought thats what it was. Got to love Home Depot modes.
Looks very nice though.

Theres another Ebay Godspeed replica that does have the round hot side pipe, BUT i dont know how well it will fit because of the space it goes through besides the radiator and frame.

yup and thats the way you want it. I just installed new hard pipes and realized why they make it like that. The frame of the car is in the way. Making the opening an oval shape gives the correct clearance.
just put on my godspeed wednesday.
ebayer was kinz performance. has godspeed logo on top.
nice looking welds, had the step dad(who hates everything i buy) inspect and he says nice welds and ran some air through it and said its good to go.
install was longer then i thought. messed up drilling the holes out on the driver side, so ended up putting slots on it. fit perfectly!
passenger side hose gave me and my brother the most problems. its a real pain fitting your hand in there and getting everything tight.
but after already driving 100miles and numerous WOT pulls, no leaks, no piping blowing off...and im on stock piping til tonight
uhmm so i got this wed. and during the day i got my dsp and installed that, as i was cleanign up my intercooler came!!!
did pulls before putting on intercooler and after dsp and car seemed to run good..all i had was dsp and agp WGA k&n drop in msd coil pack ngk plugs
after f.m. install it pulled soo much nicer so it really opened up some of that restrictive air!
point being i rec. it, as including shipping i got it for 218 bucks

Well i think after 4 pages, its kinda clear what a very very good, well performing, well built, cheap intercooler would be. lol. Again, glad to see everyone is having good words with this, and it will help some people in the future.
