Many of you know these guys as the ones who offered the td05/mani group sale. A lot of you have said that they sent out their product very quickly and how easy it was to get a hold of them.
Here's my story...
on oct 17, last wed., i ordered my set-up from them (td05/mani). i received a sales receipt and had charges against my card for the purchase. i then get an email saying that my turbo probably wont go out until this wed. (oct 24.) with no reason why. i then notice tues. that my card wasn't charged anymore and i didn't get any email telling me what was going on. i must have called these people OVER 15 times just trying to get a human being on the phone. i sent them 5 emails as well.
i finally get ahold of Amber stice and ask her what was going on. she tells me that dodge might want their turbos back and that i probably wasn't going to get mine but she would send me a confirmation number if the meeting went well with their shop and dodge. i asked her why the product was advertised on their site if it wasn't for sale. she told me that their were 3 left and that i "had" the last one. HOWEVER, according to her, F/P told dodge that they only had 3 left. so technically these weren't for sale at all BUT they were still advertised on their site as for sale. if you look at their page now, you will see that the td05 is now "$9,999.00." this is because they don't have any more.
she is now telling me that they will know if they can sell these by nov 2.
i'm VERY pissed off because they shouldn't have been for sale in the first place. i'm well aware that they had said something about this in the G/B BUT the fact remains is that they were still for sale.
i have already started to get fuel mods for the set-up i thought i was getting. now, i'm mad, disappointed and frustrated because these people lied and they couldn't be honest with me. the least they could do is find me a set-up from somewhere else and eat-up whatever the overage is.
Hah, should have known they were fucking stolen. I guess that dude who pointed the oddness of a whole skid going missing then this company coming on here and selling them was riigghhttt.
Unless Dodge ran out and is buying them from a retailer? Yea, sure.

FP has been in the sti scene for quite some time and are LEGIT.
DCX mustve made a change of mind (doesnt surprise me w/ them), and wanted their stash back.
why let a distributor such as FP sell 20+ s3 turbofolds w/in a matter of a week, when they themselves have a hard time as it is trying to sell their s3 kits at 2700+?

it might have been a good idea to wait til you got the turbo until you started getting fuel mods.... plus, it's not like you can't use those fuel mods with any other big turbo kit
just take that money & pick up a 3147 kit .... trust me, you'll be happy with it
what it comes down to is if it wasn't for sale, it shouldn't have been advertised.
also, i'm one of those idiots that likes to plan ahead thus the purchase of the fuel mods.
i know there are better set-ups out there but i'm stuck on stupid with stg3, i don't really know why.
it is poor service for the crap that i've been going through with them. not answering the phone, email and giving me some b.s. excuse is poor customer service.

Seriously dude, they have an issue at the moment and your $$ has been refunded. Your alot better off than those who ordered S3 through Kustomatix and got burnt. So count your blessings.
