Default Exhaust Depot 3" TBE Review

As promised, my review of Exhaust Depot Dual 3" exh no cat and no resonators...I made two posts so old users and new users that may not click on the second page of the other thread see it here in the first post.

Ease of install:
12/10 ....a monkey could do this and all of his parts line up wonderfully

Sound:
10/10 ... Sounds stupid loud until after 3000, then it starts to sound like any other 3"...i like it

Look:
4/10 .... Absaloute shit if you ask me. Tips them selves ar unbeliavable nice lookin, placement is shit.

Overall:
6/10

Like i said everything lines up great. I have never seen a exhaust system with a seperate flex pipe rather than welded on but hey, in this case it worked fine. Also, most company's use 3 bolt flanges, ED uses 2 bolt flanges. As of now im happy, i dont know if in the future this will become a problem or not. The tips fit about 2" below where i would like them, and there is no way fesible for a normal joe doing the install to modify or adjust them that I can see. Another gripe, I asked hector not once but TWICE, I need 2 bungs, please add on to my order. The response I got "All my exhaust have 2 bungs." Well I guess i got a limited edition 1/1, only one out there with 1 bung...

Will I buy from him again:
Im unsure, if hes willing to work with me(not financially just through passing of info) to get this exhaust tips to fit right then probaly yes. If he tells me to fuck off then obviously no.

Mybe i have been lucky and got nice fitting systems in the past but this looks like shit to me...There are cuts in the bumper for the tips to fit for a reason...

I have the same tips and love them, 3 years later and they still polish up easy.

Try rolling your bumper until you get your tips(exhaust) back up.

You could try getting shorter exhaust hangers that should bring it up a bit...and I've heard this exhaust before...its retarded loud (makes my MPX seem quiet in comparison )

Congratulations on getting the ED 3" TBE LIMITED EDITION!! Now your car will make 10whp more then any other SRT no matter what. I would have Hector send you money to go get an extra bung welded in at a local shop near you but then again...he would probably just say fuck you even though you asked him twice to make sure there was 2 bungs.

Have an exhaust shop slightly bend the 'over the axle' area a little more so the tips move up.

Thats going to be difficult...Hectors over the frame portion sits extremely high(un like MPx, sits super low, actually sat on my frame) ...so I dont have a lot of room up there. I figured I would have them try and heat and angle the tips individally...I don't need perfect, if I would get 1" higher I would be happy.

x2... shorter hangers will bring the tips up with no other changes.

I think its a completely fair review. I hope Hector works with you on the second 02.

Thank you, i tried to be 100% un biased. I was pissed at first but hey everything else went ok.

The next chance i get some time off ill take it off and have some new hangers welded on..and maybe change out the rubber hanger portion to a little stiffer if possible.

I just made a post in ED section, hope to get some ideas on how to fix this. I dont want any money, just a fix.
