I always check multiple websites before I purchase anything online, and I found something nice and interesting, and a little concerning about turboneonstore...
If you go to ACTs website and look for the DN4-HDSS it goes for $900+, includes all the necessary equipment and flywheel. But, if I go to turboneonstore, the same kit, DN4-HDSS w/ flywheel is 600 bucks. Can anyone tell me how a satellite store like TNS can sell it cheaper than the manufacturer, or is it a typo on TNS
ive ordered several items from them myself without problem, im just a little confused by the dramatic price drop, any ideas to how they can make it so much cheaper?
all in all, ill just order the part, if no flywheel comes, ill assume it was a typo
Manufacture will list the Manufacture's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).
Most manufactures give there dealers a Minimum Approved Price (MAP), which is the lowest any dealer can sell a product without losing their right to sell that product.
The cost to a dealer on a part might be $500, the MAP set for that part might be $600, and the MSRP could be $900. The dealer could choose to sell that part for anywhere from $600 to $900. Technically they could sell it for higher than the MSRP if they really wanted to, but then who would buy it from them?
