Has anyone else on here had problems with there axles. I am about to send back my 4th one without ever getting to put more then like 10 miles on any of them. The first one was splined wrong, the next 2 were not tempered right and the ends came off, and this last one was milled off so it was leaking fluid from around the seal (it was about a 1/4" difference from stock and that was causing that problem and it to bottom out).
So I am going to hopefully be getting my 5th yes 5th axle from them in a week or so. I am just wondering if I am the only one that has had this much bad luck or if anyone else has had something happen like this.
By the way the passenger side has been fine through all this.
Just wanted to add that there service and wanting to help has been great though. No issues with getting stuff to them and back.
i had a problem with them but i broke the welds inside the axle and trans fluid was leaking out. but other then that they are working just fine. they even warrantied it for me. they told me that this was the second time they had this problem but its fixed now.

like wheel hop. i have the dog bones and trans mount and coilovers. my problem was power.
You forgot suspension geometry, which with coilovers, you definitely could have affected. Also you can easily break an axle with an improper burnout.
Regardless, I'd rather replace a $130 axle which is pie to change, than break something inside the tranny that will A) cost more, and B) be much more of a pain to fix.
My tranny should be pretty much bulletproof ( as much as possible anyway), still I'd rather have axles be the weak link because let's face it, no matter how much money you spend on aftermarket parts, there will always be a weak link somewhere.
Im also sending my axle in for the forth time today in fact. first axle was my fault but ever since i had the axle it wobbled and it was found to have the wrong length passenger side bar. the seconded was the transmission was leaking into the cv area and it has always fit way to hard into the diff. I got it back and within a month it did it again and within a month of getting it back guess what, it did it again and im sending it back once again for the same problem. i talked to a few different employs and they were all rude and ignored the problem. i finely go to talk to the owner and he is taking care of everything for me and was a big help. If it wasn't for the owner i would of never bought another product from DSS. The owner knows how to take care of his customers. if your having any problems i would call and ask to speak to frank.
this just may be for the 1000hp axles but they use a 904 cv joint with chromoly cage for the balls instead of the tripod setup like the stock axles and 3-5 dss axles do.

But that will be for auto's only? Or for the stick cars as well? Have you had problems with your current axles?
