Default CF hood

i recently got into an accident, and the body shop said it's fine if i order a cf hood (since its cheaper then the appraised value of my stock hood)

i wasn't really sure which to go with though...

carbon by design makes one..
and modern performance also makes one..
there also both the same price (599.99 + like 200 shipping)

turbo neon store has the SAME one as carbon by design (i think) but it looks as if its 549.99 (they even use the same sample pics)

any opinions on which i should get?
please be hasty with responses if you can, i have to put the order in tomorrow.

It's generally thought that the one by Siebon is superior, and Carbon By Design is next after that.

I have a silver one by Carbon FX that I got from Deft Racing. The quality is not quite as high as some others, but I wanted silver, and it was the only option at the time. Plus it was cheap.

hmm weird, my friend has a gli and he told me to stay away from the siebon hoods.

(he's had a few different cf hoods including a siebon one) i don't know if its different in the srt world though.

that really is a good deal, but i'm worried my friend had a seibon cf hood (on his 06 gli) like i said, and he said it faded a whole lot after only three months...

any feedback from anyone with a seibon that has had it for 6+ months?

I think that any CF hood is going to fade if left in the sun, unless you use something to protect it. Most plastics are susceptible to UV damage.

Fiber images... Hands down. I've had mine for 4 years, still looks brand new (minus one little scratch, fucking sticks). Perfect fitment, edge spacing looks OEM, weave has no waves in it. Absolutely flawless.
