For the love of god!!! All the FB nut huggers need not reply!!!! This is the bottom line!!

The OP was lead to believe that the product he was purchasing was in stock and ready to be shipped to him.

The OP got his product 6 weeks later and on top of that it was not in the condition that he wanted or expected or advertised to be in.

The OP is pissed and went onto a public forum to give feedback, which is his right to do!! and all the nut huggers need to stay out of it!!!!

FBM feels that they have been unfairly protrayed.

FBM admits they have a problem with turn around.

FBM seems to have a track record of bad turn around.

In closing, the OP should of payed attention to the other numerous threads about the poor turn around time at FBM, that alone should of been reason enough not to order from them.

FBM, really needs to work on it's turn around issues, or at least stop taking on more orders than they can handle. It would seem they are a victim of their own sucess, but with that sucess comes responsiblity!!! They need to tell people NO, sorry I can't field that order until I get more cores in, and for the love of god, dont' Don't sell product that you don't have!!!! That is fraud!!!!!!!!

It's a shame that out of all the vendors on this forum, only a handfull are both trust worthy AND reliable!!! It seems like the majority are one or the other!!!! I'm not saying FBM is not trust worthy, they seem to get things resolved one way or another, but like I stated a good business is both trust worthy and reliable!!!!

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but it's just crazy!!!! It needs to be locked or deleted!!!!

you got what you deserved. I figure after all the issues that are well documented that people have had with FBM anyone that does busness with them and is not happy gets what they deserved.

What a tard.....I have never done business with FBM and am fully aware of historical issues. That doesn't say that I won't or will. The only real business I ever spoke of was distributing ported parts for the SRT community. By definition, a nut hugger is someone askin for something and as I see it I have not needed anything from FBM.

The grow up part???....hmmmm....more
Note the "unsubscribed" part now....took your a$$ outta the sandbox eh!!!

Caric Im tired of people like you. You're a moron sitting behind your computer trying to act like you could do it yourself, but you couldn't. You always come in here and run your mouth, saying no ones is happy, but if they weren't I wouldn't get 50 calls a day with people ranting and raving about how happy their friends are and that they wanted to buy something.

Where's your experience. Come in here just to chime in like another high school kid. You're probably the same type of person who would jump in on a fight and kick someone just to look cool. Im doing what I can here and Im tired of putting myself to the side for someone like you who has no reason to even speak in my threads. Try walking my shoes, you couldn't. I've done 1000 times in my life what you have so yes with that said there is always going to be problems with someone like myself who pushes to be "Different from average guy" Sorry you sit back working your 9-5 claiming to be some government guru with all this knowledge yet I don't see you doing more than paying your bills.

Keep coming Im not going to be your bitch anymore. Call me or my company what you want, I just make and sell parts so that means I should sit back and take your crap when you're not even a customer or mine.

A few things that must be looked at here...

Josh did say 5 turbo's going out. Now here is where your complaint seems to be. To be honest I do understand about being angry with the time frame that you are talking about. However, Josh does sell his work very cheap... and having him on here with your complaints doesn't really help. So what you are asking is that in the future he keeps things updated as to who got the instock turbo's and then who will be getting the ones that he is working on? Would that be fair to say?

This complaint is more of a timeframe issue then anything else. You do have to understand that for the amount that you are paying... there will be hickups.

Okay, now for the overspray.... I do agree that it lessens the initial appeal due to the fact of a cosmetic defect. How was the outside of the turbo? The side that you actually saw? Now Josh does coat these afterwards. If you do look at many others work... they coat the inside of the turbo's.... so my thought is that it probably isn't a really big deal =)

Now metal shavings..... here is where the arguement really starts to break down. You didn't take pictures? You threw out the turbo? Is that true? There is ALWAYS a huge possibility of things like this happening! When you are dealing with a stock insert that is not removed for porting... there is a chance. Now I am guessing that we are not talking about a pile of shavings falling from the turbo... we are maybe talking about a couple small pieces? Anyone that doesn't do a good job of cleaning off their turbo's before putting them on should be ashamed of themselves! And you should be commended as you found them!

But.... why didn't you just contact Josh about it?

For me.... well I have a intake mani and a stage 3 exhaust mani on order as well Josh is porting my TB for me..... I can't say I have been waiting that long as to be honest I was late on payment ect. I was part of one of the earlier GB's and Josh and I were working out how much for all of it for a while... so I was not surprised that I didn't recieve mine right away...

The bottom line is that you are recieving some VERY cheap porting work... from a guy that seems to be doing his best to keep up with the flood of business that is coming his way. He is doing his best... and from the sounds of it... you did recieve a good product as your complaints honestly are not warranted for the price that you paid and the fact that you don't have pictures..... If it was a metal chunk... not a small shaving... then there could be an issue! I think I have found worse pieces in some of the stock cars I have worked on =)

However, you do have full rights to put up what you would like... but people also have the same rights to refute your opinion with experiences of their own.....

Well said. I admit the timeframe and the overspray which he was not upset about in PM's, but then comes back with metal shavings. I've had heads with sand still in them before because of crappy hot tanking, and the person had 100 pictures to show it. What's done is done, but to throw away an item you could get $150 for is just plain ridiculous. Hell send it back to me.

Give it a rest...just another one to jump on the wagon. This thread is dead, let it stay that way. There was no gap, it's how I machine them, but you're educated on flow right?

Prices change all the time, and it shows the type of person you are coming on here bitching about $25 when I decided to change a price a few weeks later. MY choice my company therefore you should have no reason to say ANYTHING about the money.

I never saw pics of any metal shavings, and overspray happens, it simply disinegrates when the turbo heats up and wheel begins to spin. Funny how you come on here posting a high school thread when you were perfectly fine about the overspray and never said ANYTHING about metal shavings in our PM's.

Another thread from a person who Im glad I wont be having as a customer anymore. The simple fact that you are going to bitch about $25 and make me out to be a bad guy because me the company changed a price. Stuff happens man with shipping and all. You sit back there waiting for your parts, while I have to do them. It's not nearly as easy as you think and I win some and lose some, but seriously I see exactly the type of person you are with what you are going on about, and the fact that you are making stuff up to make me look bad.

No pics on the metal shavings, then Ill call you out on it. I don't believe you plain and simple. My stuff is sandblasted 2 TIMES before clean up and coating there is NO PHYSICAL WAY there could have been metal shavings in there. There is NO AREA inside of a turbo housing small or constricted enough to trap the shavings while having 175 PSI of air and sand blasted at it, air blown through it numerous times before coating, and a 4000 PSI Pressure washer.

Normally Ill apologize and accept the fault, but you made crap up to make me look bad. Bitch about what's wrong the time it took me to get it to you, but don't come on here saucing up the situation to get me bashed in open forums.

Wow... Just wow... Customer satisfaction = continued success of a business. You, just showed how little you respect your customers. With a post like this, I don't know why anyone would ever buy from you again, as you CLEARLY don't give a flying fuck about customers.

Disrespect is the biggest reason anyone would buy an inferior product for a higher price, from your biggest competitor. This has set in stone that all the complaints over the last year I have seen were definitely well founded. And I guarantee you just lost a few customers with this little rant.

And you called his little rant high school? Reply to a high school rant with more juvenile behavior and bash your customers, that will get the job done. And whats with the line I bolded? Take a fuckin business management class... NEVER would I buy from someone who slaps his customers in the face and says piss off.

Wow, you just don't understand that customers are your business. Without them, you wouldn't be able to sit back and think you are better than everyone else, which is painfully obvious with the other bolded line. And more comments about high school. WTF? Are you upset that maybe someone in high school is buying your parts? Maybe your orders should come with a disclaimer. "I am a dick head who is CLEARLY better than everyone else. Also, if you are going to complain about my inadequacies, I will verbally abuse you and call you a moron."

Now, lets see you add more high school to this thread with a response...
