apparently, I've yet to see one person post up saying that they've had a decent experience with them

yeah on the way down to NY the car was smoking slightly ... then the motor blew, put the new motor in, took it to the track & the smoke came back again ... eventually it got worse & worse and then to the point where the turbo was blown

what I find really sketchy is the fact that Kinetic/Slowboy says the "oil was contaminated" yet they can't tell me what it was contaminated with ... hell, Jeff at slowboy didn't even know what "oil contamination" meant and for the past week I've been waiting for an explanation for this

I promise 125 traps on street tires as soon as I get the turbo back ... the 122 mph runs were on a shitty tune w/o wot shifting on a blown turbo ... 125 shouldn't be too hard with a wot box, better tune, meth injection & a new, un-blown turbo

I was hoping to go up on Friday & possibly Saturday but that's out of the question now

wow just saw this.. fucking bullshit..

i will say this about slowboy, i know they are moving since the business was sold..

i only had good experiences with them when i personally drove the 2 hours to the shop...

when i ordered off the interenet it would take a month or longer to recieve parts that were IN STOCK and the fucking shop was 2 hours away.

WOW!!!!

Well, if I had my doubts about SBR before I definitely know I won't be buying from them now. Sorry to hear about the luck man.

Come to think about it, I think my S60 turbo is a kinetic . Good thing I purchased through PTP. He pretty much warrenty's everything. Only reason I feel comfortable with the purchase.

Hope everything works out for you Nate.

sadly enough, the mods/admin don't do anything against vendors like this ... they state that there's too much work involved for them to fight the vendor, blah blah blah, but revoking their vendorship from the site seems like an easy solution to me

as long as slowboy pays their vendor fees, they'll still be around .... just like FBM, kustomatix, glacial graphics, etc.

well seeing as how money is their motivation ... $150/month > $40 one-time fee

I agree on the WGA.....I had it on for about a year....I just recently took it off...damn thing rattled to no end.

I'm not going to sell it to anyone...I'm just going to throw it away.
