Default ams / precision GT850R Turbo kit

very pleased with the way it looks havent installed it yet, will prolly start tomorrow, but from the way it looks it came with everything you will need right off the bat only bad thing is you gotta re-adjust the compressor housing (5-10 minute fix too easy) so itll lead into the cold pipe. welds are all perfected, and they give military discounts (saved me 800ish dollars). everything was also packed tightly to ensure it all made it here safely.

install pics should be up by monday with a video

THANK YOU AMS!!!!

lol yea i know but itll all come together within the next year to year and a half, the final step will be when ams tunes it when i have the army ship it down to illinois for me .

but i am going to afghanistan in the summer so ill easily have enough money to finish most of the very expensive stuff, but im still debating which short block AMS, Performance auto werks, or DCR 2.6l

they all have their ups and downs...AMS uses the parts i want, but use alot of oem parts i dont like

Performance auto werks can get it WPC treated, but use kinda crappy internals

DCR sounds good but it sucks cause i dont wanna send them my block and head i just wanna purchase outright (nice to have a spare full engine around "just in case") and not have to pay 1800 for a whole new engine, and deal with shipping one anywhere

If you had a 2.6L why would you wanna another block laying around. Have them build you one, ship it then you ship your stock one to them....done..

i kind of want to experiment with it, just to see what i can do with it, i wanna make a track or drift car so i would like to use a engine i actually know more about rather than starting back from sctratch. cause lets face it no matter what anyone says about it, its a badass 4 cyl engine.

i would put it in the top 10 or maybe even top 5 of the 4 cyl world. i mean people may say we are stupid (or atleast i am) for saying that, but in reality the only reason they say it is, because its a neon. but i bet if they re-invented the silvias or any other world re-known car w/a a853 it would be the talk of the world right now.

i mean look at the old 420a's it was ok to mod one out in a eclipse, but if you did it to a neon you were a retard.
