How much? and did you get my pictures i posted in your thread?
I'll hafta ask Nigel (turbo666). He built this tranny for himself but I ended up buying it from him. I'm thinking it was less than $200 for all the internals, minus the input shaft of course. He put a dcr input shaft in it.
Which thread are you talking about?

Contact Bob from f&f. He did the cryotreating on my tranny internals. They're working well.

Sorry, I was thinking of Turbojack...lol yours looked similar. He wanted a picture of my regulator with it tapped for the nitrous and sensor.

yea, we will have to hang out forsure and figure something out.
- T-67 is a P trim, .63 A/R so it wont be too laggy.
-Nitrous we are just doing a single shot, probably 90 shot to 100. We will be using the jug on C16 or race gas...nothing on pump gas or E-85.
The turbo should really scream up top...high efficience, Supra style
Hey guy!! lol, hows your car? were not sure...we were going to make it electric, now we might make it a hob compressor like they use for air bags...oil filled then run lines to trunk. I dont know, my twin wants to lose it, i dont really, were not going to gain much
Car is good, did some dyno prepping today (new fluids, boost test, spark plugs)...
I looked into an electric pump also.. Honestly though the car is just as easy for me do drive/turn without the power steering as it was with it. Little added power and less TQ steer also (Im a 250lb gym rat though)...
Have you looked into an Auto? Dcr auto trans with a tight 3200-3400 converter is just as drivable as my wires old 1999 base neon, no joke.
well not sure if they are looking into the auto but i am having that debate right now that is for sure... i think srt'n 1 shoud as well... i have found that the five speed if the car is to be raced is just way to hard to drive consistently
yep...lol very aware of that, dont have money to waste on a transmission right now. Have to get it running first then i will feel better about spending more money.
DOGBOX = Straight cut gears......= not daily driver friendly...lol.
And a dual disk is? Very understandable though.

The only car I've driven with a twin disk was an evo and it drove great with it. Wasnt harsh at all. Unless neons act the completely opposite with a twin disc, then it will be fine for daily driving. Id say it will eat the stock input shaft pretty quickly though.

Well, having experience with the exact clutch that they have, I would have to say that the clutch is not really all that street friendly. It's practically all or nothing. There MIGHT be 1/4" of pedal travel where it has a reasonable slip point. But it's tough to keep it right in that spot. It's freakin grabby!

Sounds like its almost there!!!! lol. Ya, the electrip pump is going to be alot of work, we took the power steering belt off our other srt-4 yesterday and drove it around. The only hard part was taking off at dead stop or making a right turn from a dead stop. The rest of the drive was fine. Im about 160 Ilbs and it wasnt to bad.. Still dont want to take it off tho.
Yes, we have looked into an Auto, We were going to buy Steve Locketts auto tranny he was selling that Ram48 bought. I didnt know if it would hold the power we wanted to make. Also was made for a car about 500Lbs lighter .
DCR auto looks nice just the price is alot right now. It really isnt bad when you compare the price to a dogbox tranny setup.. Clutch, dogbox, axles...it would be like 9k or more.
I would like to set some new trap speed records with a 5 speed, so i really want to keep it a manual. But all depends on Price of a Cage and what deals I can get on a Tranny....someone wanna sponsor me for the tranny.............
