That's a real picture... I can photoshop it and make it look "enhanced". This picture was taken bright daylight at around 2-4pm. So much for your sun going down pics.

and there is so much reflection all over it is hard to see the car... Looks overcast to me

Nothing to hide... don't have to wait till the sun goes down. BTW, it was about a 2 hr drive in the convoy to this picnic and I didn't wipe the car down when I got there.

and thats great and all but the discussion is between the riced yellow and the non riced yellow and the point is still the same. Photoshop cant cure rice so who cares if its PS'd or not?

Photoshop makes the color tone of the car better. Enhances the quality of the picture. I know what this thread is about. I'm making a point of you can take a picture of your car and make it look 10x better then what it looked like.

If you were close to me I would personally take pics of your car and post it so we see a non-photoshopped picture.

You can also use photoshop to overcome errors by the photographer. Like that shot of my rim AND the shot up against the wall were both WAYYYY underexposed. I used PS's RAW plug in to give it the exposure I intended.
I also used the wrong White Balance. I used Incandescent insead of sunlight. So I fixed it.

If I use Manual mode and "adjust" a setting, am I tampering with the picture?
What about with your point and shoot camera and you use the "Indoor" setting? Or "Party" setting? Or "Sport" setting? Isn't the camera changing how the lens is interperating the photo?
