What are the advantages for having a radiator hard pipe versus having a soft pipe? Is it merely for cosmetic reasons?

Honestly it is primarily for looks. However, one could argue that unlike a soft hose, there is no "give" or its not mallable like the soft pipe.

Heres a pic of the new motor in, still far from finished but when its all done everything will be 10x cleaner including a new vc for sure, that ones all to hell. The intake mani could use a buffing as well.

No, sorry man, I have the stock fuel rail. It's a showparts.net cover and I ordered it from JMB, hope it fits for you. Thanks for the compliment.

I'll be using the same one I had with the stock intake manifold, just changing to a 90 degree coupler off the throttlebody instead of the 60 degree or whatever it had before.
