Default New guy with 05.

Hey all. My name is Max and I picked up an 05 from the original owner yesterday. Car is clean and it looks like the PO took very good care of the car. Its cleanly modded from what little I know about these cars. Took it out yesterday to the local hang out spot and got compliments from the couple of SRT drivers that were there. I dont plan on doing much to the car performance wise as I picked this car up for DD use and to start prepping my 01 mustang GT as a track/ once in a while driven car.

I have about 2K of turbo parts sitting in my closet for the mustang and one of the parts is an HKS SSQV which might go into the neon along with a bigger frontmount for appearance reasons more than performance but thats as far as I want to take it.
A couple of appearance mods such as headlights, HIDs, the SRT-4 nostril badge might go in during the winter.
Currently whats installed in it is:
-3" turbo back exhaust with Forward Motion cat back except it doesnt have a cat.
-AFE short ram intake with an AEM filter
-Clutch Masters stage 3 clutch
-Mopar short throw shifter
-AGP wastegate
-Turbo XS boost controller
-Cross drilled and slotted rotors
- A couple of exterior and interior mods.

Mustang for shits and giggles.

Proper photoshoot of the SRT-4 will come as soon as we get a random sunny day here it UT. Its currently like 25 degrees.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. It is a really clean car. Like I said, it seemed like the PO knew what he was doing with this thing and it shows. I bought this thing for DD use but im a car guy as you can probably tell and the mod bug is always going to be there. I want to keep this car as reliable as possible, something the mustang lost long ago after the upgraded fuel system and road racing suspension.
If I did drop this thing I would have to make sure the drop will not effect the comfort and make me feel every pebble on the road. I also live in UT and do not want to be taking away from the snow plow's job here in a couple of weeks.

Lyncoo, whats the advantage of taking the boost controller off and just going off the wastegate?

And yes I do believe the wheels were powdercoated. They look too good to have been painted with a rattle can and are not completely glossy hence not clearcoated.(im a painter at a shop)

the mbc kills any chance of the stock turbo holding anykind of boost. it will also make it surge more. the mbc will make boost fall off faster and by just using the agp wga it will hold boost longer

The drop that youll lookin for is bc coilovers and you should tint your black led tails they look awesome that way and the cops wont bug you also would look great with your tinted sides and 3rd brake.
