Yea, I've gotta get motivated to take some pictures of something.. Seems lately all ive done is flowers.. Actually.. i took some pictures of a girl the other day. i will have to post them up after some edits.

^nice portrait

but with as apature as sharp as 2.8 your going to want to make sure
you focus directly on her eyes
looks a little ooF on her eyes imo

edit: after looking at it again the left eye looks sharp but maybe its the
glare on he right eye that makes it look ooF

First try messing around with the wireless flash setup.

They probably could be a little bit. It was a kind of a spur of the moment type of deal... that.. and combine the manual focus of the D40 with the 50mm.. lol.

It's hard taking self portrait pics in the dark lol. I had to use manual focus for the one I just posted. Take a shot, get up and adjust and repeat. :P
