What lens were you using? 50mm?

Thanks. I changed between the 18-70mm D70 kit lens for wides and the 50mm for the rest. I had the 70-200 2.8 VR w/me but never had an opportunity to use it.

Now he's got some pics for his forum

I wanted to try some rolling shots but weather didnt cooperate.

Thanks. I shoot AWB alot and it usually works. These are basically straight out of camera with some slight cropping and a hint of USM.
This one here shows his exhaust and tread real nice plus him in the mirror so he thought this was cool.

I bought my D40 at the same time of my friend MCPTR.
I only took something around 300 pictures.
Around 275 was pictures from christmas party, so i was in automatic mode.

I've started to practice in manual mode last week, while my cousin was changing motor/transmission oils in my srt.
I will post those pictures on wednesday. I hope you guys will help me out with critique and comments.
Thanks

PS, as you probably already know, I no longer have dreamhost hosting. Therefore your hosting no longer works. I just couldn't justify paying for the plan and only using a small percentage of my space since I shut down Lucent Perf. and the Photog forum.

Agreed. I was thinking about trying that. I have been REALLY lame about taking
photos lately. Not a lot of inspiration for some reason. I've gotten so busy with
work and snapping photos of that...

On another note, since we got rid of all the bullshit, this thread has actually lasted
over THREE MONTHS... much better. Probably 10 times the photos as well.

Hak, I did figure out that the hosting was gone. I was sad. Glad to see you here
though. You guys gotta get me excited about photography again.
