Im new to the DSLR world. I just got my d40 from J-SRT4 about a month ago and have been learning what everything is. Heres a few pics from the kings game i went to a few nights ago. Tips on shooting b-ball games or tips in general would be much appreciated. Keep in mind that i am a newb and these are unedited:
I was messing with the WB,ISO and exposure through out the night but just coulnt get it right. Shots were taken with a 55-200 vr.

you hang a pipe from the bottom of the car and then mount the camera on it then photoshop the pipe out of it. If you look closely, I would guess that he mounted underneath the driver's door since the shadow is kind of inconsistent there.
couple of comments..
I found myself trying to scroll to the right of the pic, I wanted to see where the car was going (the second one is a lil better but my eyes kept asking for more)
also.. if possible and if I was taking the pic, I would have taken the pic from a little lower angle, it makes the car have a larger presence

Thanks, I was trying to keep the camera as still as possible, and not shake it, and risk blurring it.
I have some more from a lower angle, and a little closer, but half of the car is cut off because I didnt position the shot right.

She is definitely getting used. Ive used it almost every day since i got it from you. Just taking random pics. I just picked up a 55-200 vr lens for it. I still have alot to learn though.
