I went into my old job yesterday.... and found out that one of my buddies did a full 180 from canon to Nikon.
he got rid of BOTH of his Mark IIs and got a D3. He had a 14-24 on it when I saw it.
he showed me some of the sports pics he's been doing lately (shoots NFL/NBA/etc) and they were all at like 6400 and CLEAN. He's gonna be one of those black lenses sticking out at sports games now... no more white L series lenses for him. lol
OMFG i'm so jealous.

The D3 is not "cheaply priced". If 5k for a fuckin kick ass camera is cheap.. then damn, I should have one! However, If I wanted to get a D3 I could... but I don't NEED it. You're just an example of how photos don't improve based upon the camera... cause they still look the same... nikon... canon... doesn't really make a difference.
You can try and start all the shit you want... I don't back down.
