I'll kick it off, why not.

Shot this in Auto. It's my safe bet, I dont have the skills down to go full manual just yet.

Same thing with this one. It's very busy but when blown up it gives you alot to look at.I need some filters for the reflections I think...

Hell no. The reflections are awesome. Shooting in auto doesn't hurt anything. Work
on your framing and your subjects. Work on your composition and your creative side
to make an interesting photo. I could give two shits what mode you used to shoot it
if it is an interesting and captivating photo.

theres a lot of camera brands.. and it doesnt HAVE to be a DSLR either to get good results.

Go to a camera shop. Pick them up. Hold them. See which one feels better
to you. To me, I have always liked Nikon's because the Canon's sound like
they are broken when the shutter releases.

This one had some decent reflections, which is why I snapped it.

Thanks for the input Castrol. I am always looking around trying to figure out what makes the right shot. I see alot of them on here and they help get the idea. I crossed some nice sets of train tracks today and they reminded me of some of your photos.

Lots of snowy scenes for you to shoot this week, it's coming down here pretty good. You should get some of downtown Seattle at night with the snow still around.

I have been wanting to drive down there and give it a try.
