How durable do you think the stuff is? I looked it up on the 3m website and they show people putting it on counter tops and shiyet. When I saw it in my buddies 300 wagon it didn't strike me as anything special, but it was a really convincing fake.

I wouldnt cover a big part of the exterior w/ this material. I will def. do the fog lights and the interior. But the hood, trunk, roof is out of he question.
i want to use this on my center radio bezel and maybe that lil area under the boost gauge...id also consider the center console like the op.... but the radio bezel is a must...it would look really good
They have photo's on their site of various vehicles wrapped. They recently did a Subaru's trunk, roof & hood. It looked very nice.
I have tha in my car
I did the door panel inserts in it but it is just that its vinyl
Why would anyone wrap a hood or roof or any exterior part for taht matter in vinyl???

wonder if you can clear over it safely, to bring it to a gloss like the rest of the car.
I ASK ABOUT THAT WHEN I ASK ABOUT PRICES....AND THEY TOLD ME IT HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE BUT THEY HAVE NO IDEA ON THE LONGEVITY OF THE PRODUCT AFTER ITS BEEN CLEARED....
