Long story short - spun the car out doing 90+ on a hwy & wrapped around a tree.
I am sharing this with you all in hopes of making you realize that everything can turn upside down in a blink of an eye. I've put alot of work into the car & alot of time and money - and now, it is all gone. The car was a total loss and now it is rusting in some insurances junk yard.
I must have been super lucky & blessed to walk away WITHOUT A SCRATCH on me. But, please let this be a wake up call to some of you all. Please be safe & take good care of yourselfs & those great little cars.
I can just say that I will always miss it, & that it pains me even more knowing that the car took it all in order to protect me - when I was the one in control.
also, some of us were not so lucky this year.... God Bless their Soul & may They rest in peace.

car is all parted out & now I am a proud owner of a 2000 Black (with chrome) Pontiac Firebird WS6. Should be right about 600whp & 700+ ft/tq in about 3 weeks. I am still gonna miss my little Beast that could
I took the easy route out - lol
no worries dudes. I already told my srt-4 buddies here that I won't be beating up too bad on them
But yeah, it sucks because i just got it back from xtremeboost with fully built bottom end, cams, new clutch etc.... And i was driving back down to orlando to have him fix a few issues - and that is when it happened. SO, now, all those parts are just rusting away in some junk jard.
As for the T/A - i doubt that there will be an srt-4 around here that will be able to hold her down. 600 whp is gonna set me back about $2k. And that is also gonna be mid 700wft/tq
If you all watch a vid of me where I raced the vettes & that white T/A - you will see just what they are cdapable of with a few boltons. Intake, exhaust, new clutch, big cam & 150 wet shot. And I am well over 600whp
More vids to follow for sure.
Sucks for your SRT man. I did pretty much the same exact wreck in my previous Integra. Spun out at over 95+ MPH and nailed a tree mid air in pretty much the same exact area. I too walked out without a scratch as did my old room mate at the time. I didn't believe in wearing seat belts back then and was thrown all thru the car like a rag doll. I eventually landed on my co-pilots legs as he was laying halfway on his way out of the window just inches from the tree we broadsided on. I'm glad your lucky and alive. Too many of us have been passing as of lately and we don't need to read of another fellow member passing. Consider it your warning from the big man upstairs, like I did after my wreck.
Be careful out there, especially with your new toy. Those are even easier to wreck so learn to tame that beast. Good luck and stick around.
PS- ditch the cheesey peddles, steering cover and red nutt shifter haha just messin'

Btw - I just picked her up yesterday & I am in love with it so far.
