same shit happened to me i got a brand new paint job out of the deal it turned out it was a ex girl friend she went as far as writing dick on my hood

Damn that sucks man, but honestly i'd be careful and extra vigilant in the coming weeks , sounds like you pissed off someone by the damage done and they might be back.

Also, so what happens when they "total" it do you have to give up the car to them? if so just take all the good aftermarket parts off first haha. Thats so stupid though totalling a car for paint damage? try not to flame too hard but honestly why not take it to a cheap place to get a once over? prep the car to cover up the scratches and just have em do a coat or two of black + clearcoat? shouldnt be more than maybe 800-1k , its not like theyre re doing the WHOLE car a different color no?
