Really? I've been using Norton for a long long time now & havent one infection in years. I've replaced all my computers at home w/ Apple machines though.
For paid anti virus protection F-Secure. For the free stuff, AVG Free or AVIRA. As for malware protection, I use Spysweeper for the paid stuff. For the free stuff, I'll use Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, and ComboFix. But for some of the best malware/spyware protection, I make sure to do all my surfing WITHOUT admin rights and use a browser other than IE e.g. Opera, Firefox, and sometimes Safari. Oh yeah, disabling Active X and Java helps too but cuts down on the internet experience lol.
