Unhappy 3 Cars, less than 24 hours

Last Friday my friend, Shara, and her b/f got in a really big fight and so my friend ran away and was later picked up by one of her friends. Both of them went to her friends house and stayed there until my friend's b/f wanted to see her and used one of my best friend's, Daniel, to get there. When Shara called Daniel to tell him to not let her b/f get anywhere near her, Daniel turned around and Shara's b/f jumped out and started running to the house. Daniel left him because Shara's b/f does this stuff all the time and so Daniel just didn't want to have to put up with him anymore.

By now Daniel was furious and when i called him up on the cell he said he was doing 100 on some 2 lane road in a 1993 Mercedes 4 door sedan. He was on his way to pick up my g/f and one of her friends to take them to my g/f's friends house. He picked them up and started driving really fast scaring my g/f and she tried calling me but my cell phone was working at the time and so she called up another one of her friends and told her how scared she was because Daniel was driving like a maniac. Daniel swerved off the main road onto some back gravel road behind a QT doing probably more than 50. Of course 50mph+Mercedes+Gravel=disaster. He instantly slid off the road into some ditch and boucned out going right off the road on the other side. He was of course ok and my the front passenger had some bruises. My g/f was the only one hurt and had to go to the hospital yesterday and is on a lot of medication to prevent her from having internal bleeding and to help ease the pain. Luckily she did not break any bones, she only tore her muscles and some tendons or ligaments. I spent all of yesterday with her and some of her friends came by to visit her to check up on her. After everyone had left but Katie, Daniel and one of his friends came over to talk to my g/f to make sure she was ok, in which she wasn't. Katie is still extremely pissed at Daniel because of his road rage and he could have killed my g/f if she had not been wearing a seat belt. When she saw him coming up the drive way i had to hold her back from attacking Daniel and she ran off. I was walking up the steps when I said the fun is about to start and before i could really finish Katie called up crying and screaming b/c my best friend (her b/f) was in a serious accident with another one of my good friends. My best friend (Taylor) was in his Mustang, and Brandon was in his Supra driving down I-85 when a van came flying off the off-ramp and swerved in front of them into the left lane in which Brandon was in. He had to slam on the brakes and make a quick left to avoid hitting the van and when he did this he clipped Taylor's 2000 Black Ford Mustang GT and he went into an uncontrallble spin and hit the car in front of him messing up his front and right side, then his car went straight back into the concrete median completely smashing the back of his car totaling it. Brandon's Supra was only messed up on the right side tearing off the tire and messing up the fenders from hitting Taylor so hard. Taylor i don't think knew how bad of shape his car was until he tried cranking it and it would not even make a noise. He got out of the car and saw the damage for the first time and broke down in tears. Idk if he is ok or not because he won't talk to anyone but his g/f. Brandon and his passenger were ok, but the thing is that his passenger was the same passenger in the accident the night before sitting in the same seat.

Let's all say another prayer for the safety & salvation of our servicemen/woman here & abroad.

BTW, I'm still praying for every person's request for prayer in this thread.

Thanks for praying guys/gals, you'll be blessed for it!

my g/f is ok now. She went to the doctors and they did a cat scan and told her that she has a bruise on her brain that can last up to 6 months. So she is going to have a headace for a long time. Other than that she is back to normal.

Default thanks

Well guys,I am not having a good day.Tomorow at 8am my step father[who raised me]is going in for heart surgery. Its an all day thing so we are all kinda nervous. Then this morning I get a phone call from my brother saying my real father is in the hospital in florida[where he lives].It turns out he has congestive heart failure and probably wont make it more that a few days.My brother and a few family members are flying down to be with him. With the freaking ticket prices[thanks to spring break] so high, work,my step dads surgery, and other obligations this weekend[forum members] i wont be able to see him.I am sadden by this,I havent seen him much in the past few years.I do however feel its my duty to stay with my mom and step dad in their time of need.I am not super religious but i pray my step dad makes it ok.It will be an awful thing to lose 2 dads in one week

Default Steve Carroll, aka "jlbait"

I got word yesterday via email that Steve passed away on Friday.
I know nothing other than that.
Please pray for Steve, and his loved ones, that God may see them through this difficult time.

Prayer said.

I'm very sorry to hear this news, and I hope that your aren't referring to fellow board member "jailbait."

Please let us know if this is whom you're referring to, because I do believe that "jailbait's" name is Steve.

Once again, this is terrible news.

My SRT-4 only gets my heart going when I'm in the staging lanes at the track.

Yes, the mood may be sad, but the joy is still there.

Thanks for the !

Hey all,

Just want to say that I never noticed this sticky and it is especially meaningful to me for personal reasons. I'm praying for everyone here at SRT-4 forums that they, their friends, family and other acquaintances to stay in good health, or recover quickly from their ailments. For those who have suffered loss or are ill, you find comfort in your faith and from those around you who love you.

As a personal favor, I ask that each and every one of you think about your cars (whether they are SRT or not, fast or slow). Understand how they work, their usefulness, and respect the power they have to take you or other people's lives away. Enjoy your vehicles safely for others and yourself! I'm sure many of the people involved in fatal accidents thought they were in total control, that it couldn't happen to them and they consequently lacked the awareness of safety. Just be careful, WE CAN prevent accidents with a little effort.

It is friday, and hopefully many of us will be enjoying a relaxing weekend to clear our minds and enjoy life! If you are in a good mood, extend that to the people around you and spread your happiness. If you are feeling down, I hope someone extends their happiness to you.

Everyone at work--GET BACK TO WORK! Be proud of it and do it the best you can. You will feel better at the end of the day.

-Adam

I have internal pain. It doesn't affect me, but it really hurts every now and then. I want open up to my Lord and ask him to guide me with his hand.

EDIT: Okay, thats not a good name for it. But every now and then some pat of my body will get a sharp, sharp jolt of sudden pain. I think it might just be growing pains?
