First off, I'd like to thank "ekool & the gang" for allowing free speech on the boards. It's my hope that they will decide to make this a "sticky" in the OT section. I'm sure it will benefit a lot of us, especially those that have, and are currently going through tough times.

Please post any prayer requests that you may have here. I'm quite sure there are plenty of people here at SRTforums.com/SRTOC.com that will pray for you, or the person or thing that you're requesting prayer for.

Please keep the prayer requests and posts to a serious nature, and feel free NOT to post in this thread if you would like to flame anyone on here for their belief in prayer.

This thread will be highly moderated.

I'd like to start the prayer requests by asking for you all to pray for the safety of all our fellow board members and staff.

We haven't lost one board member, or staff person, and we would like to keep it that way.

Im going in for surgery tomorrow @ 9am [ablation] so ill cyu guys sometime at the end of this weekend!!

I'll keep you guys posted on how it went...im sure it will go smoothly!!

I just found out that I have a heart problem. 25 and a heart problem

what kind of symptoms do you have? that's what my surgery is for tomorrow, an ablation for the heart...

i have wolff parkinson white[WPW] but hopefully by saturday its gone!

Don't feel bad fellas, I've suffered fron PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) for years, and I just turned 34.

BTW, I've said prayers for all that have posted so far.

Seems something of a theme has formed (for now). I'm praying that the Healer will heal hearts, as well as heal Hearts.

This also seems to be a theme in scripture:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
Deut 6:5

"Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart"
1 Sam 16:7

"Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Luke 12:34

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding." Prov 3:5

"Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against you."
Ps 119:11 NASB

"For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him"
2 Chron 16:9

So, hearts are important to Him, as well as other physical needs. So are jobs. So are men and women at work defending the defenseless.

"Father, you know all of our hearts, physical and spiritual. We ask for your touch. We are trusting you to show yourself. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for your Son, who shed his blood for our salvation, and for our healing. Give us peace as we go through storms. Help us to remember that you are the master of those storms. Amen."

my cousin (27) found out he has some blood disease.. it can create heart attacks (which happened / how we found out) and other tihngs, not to mention he can die anytime... his chimotherapy starts soon

he just had a kid 2 years ago.. they said it doesnt look good for the long run..
