Default My latest project

I did a few of these a couple years ago, and told my dad I would make one for his house, but never got around to it. Well last night I did. I think it turned out pretty good, what do you think?

I'd buy one.

I have one I did a couple years ago that I airbrushed woodgrain flames with a painted carbon fiber backround. The flames turned out awesome but the carbon fiber not so much.

I have done a couple other flame jobs, but they are basically the same design but a different color.

Not if you found out what it would cost.

Mailbox- $15
Paint and materials- $40
Time from start to finish- 6 hours

I would have to sell them for just over $100 to make it worth it, and to be honest, I dont think that anyone would pay $100 for a $15 mailbox, but I could be wrong.

You'd be surprised. I'm sure there are people out there who would pay for custom painted items that are hard to find.

Very nice job. I'm guessing the sanding, prepping and taping is what took so long.
