I'm going to wait for some reviews to come out before I decide. I don't like the fact that the directory of The Mummy directed it. I'm guessing it will be a flop, even though the trailer catches my attention.

I heard most people are predicting Epic fail on this one. It has been a tough year for movies coming out in 09.

I have heard of the books and movies but have never seen them except for a few scenes when I was flipping channels. What is your point here that Harry Potter was a bigger failure or that is was a big hit for 2009?

Despite some initially negative reviews, it looks like that maybe this movie won't be a complete steaming pile. Here, is a few more reviews that give some hope:

Out of childhood memories.. I will be watchin this movie. I do not have high hopes whatsoever, I just hope Cobra isnt a pussy like he was in the 80's

Hey, at least I here people actually die in this one. I don't think a single person ever died in the entire GI Joe cartoon series.
