Question Do you take any vitamin/mineral supplements?

I used to take a lot like my dad, but my doctor said most of the stuff just gets pissed away. I hear it doesn't hurt to take a multivitamin. Best thing really is to just eat a healthy, well balanced diet.

Some vitamins are water soluble like Vitamin C, whereas others are fat soluble like Vitamin E.

Discuss.

Yeah i take a vitamin C pill and one of those multivitamin a day.

I also started to take this pill thats supposed to speed up my metabolism because my sucks

But thats about it so far.

I take Centrum, I don't know if it does any good or not *shrugs* but I was at 216 lbs at the beginning of March, 5 pounds heavier than new years when I was going to 'lose' weight. Twice I got to 205 and got sick over the last couple of weeks. Now I'm at 204, and I am taking the vitamins like clockwork to try to avoid getting sick again. So far so good.

i take multi, C, E (low sunlight area), Cod liver oil(pill form, immune booster), fish oil and glucosamine cause i got shitty knees. oh yeah and for pure muscle gain sessions i also take a shit load of dessicated liver tabs...those things are natures steroid.

I take Orange Triad multi's. It's a multivitamin/joint aid/digestive aid and great for people that weight train alot.

I'm taking Mass XXX.

Unlike most of ya'll. Im trying to gain weight. Im 5'11" and weight 145lbs and now weight 161lbs after 3 weeks of hardcore eating.

Im trying to get to my ideal weight of 185lbs.

I eat 6 small meals a day and consume around 2,800 calories. On top of that, I'm drinking this 800 calorie shake in the morning.

In 3 weeks of consuming around 3,500 calories a day. I have gained 15lbs and my body fat has stayed the same.

Believe or not....it's hard getting fat.

I'm in the same boat...went from 130 to ~168 and climbing

Anywho, I think Ts is asking what vitamins we take as opposed to training supplements...

same here. went from 6'4 168 to 6'4 210 in less than a year. had to constantly eat 3500 to 4500 calories a day using smaller and more frequent healthy meals, plus mass xxx or whey.

my doc said it was OK to use protein or weight gainer as long as i exercised and relied on real food (not taking gainers/protein as a meal replacement). i have increased my overall fat, but i've had very little to begin w/.

ON natural whey, and ON natural casein. It is quality protein, has a lot of servings and for a decent price. Plus, you can always add ingredients to make your own "gainer"
