bulking up/ muscle gain/ protein question..BODYBUILDERS NEEDED
i'm trying to bulk myself up, and gain overall upper body size and strength.
i am 5'11", currently 145 lbs. i'm not stickly looking, but either i'm showing muscle or ribs lol.
i am wanting bigger pecks, abs, and biceps. lower body is good to go, as i run cross country.
My question is...what kinds of additions to my diet will help me the most the fastest?
I am taking a generic whey protein blend daily, along with dailly aerobics/workouts. i have noticed a weight gain since the past 2 weeks doing this, also more muscle definition.
i want to get more serious into it, and am considering Muscle Milk, or Monster Milk/Muscle.
of these products, and others available, which will help me the most? i generally eat a hardy steak/eggs/potatoes diet, drink lots of fluids.

i miss my srt4 every single time i press the skinny pedal.
but yeah...i'm needing to take supplements like that...my metabolism is WAYYYY too fast to do it by eating diet alone...i HAVE to flood my body with calories/protein.
OP - wrong section man, there is actually a health/fitness section in the Water Cooler. you're just going to be made fun of here, lulz. consider this your freebie from me.
that being said, i am in the same boat. i eat all the time, can't gain an ounce. i am about to turn 30, so all those clowns who said the metabolism thing won't last can kiss my ass. i just stopped trying and started buying guns. it's cheaper in the long run and requires less work.
pretty much literally...if i eat 2 pounds of food, then weigh myself immediately...i will not be 2 pounds heavier lol...my metabolism is that fast.
i HAVE to flood myself with more protein than my body can handle. that turns to bulk/muscle. which is good.
eat a ton of protein, lift a lot, and lift heavy.
i can guarantee you your weight lifting routine is not up to par.
squats, deads, rows, incline db press, overhead press, weighted dips is all you need to do. and kill yourself doing them.
Lift heavy and do compound movements. Change your routine every 4-6 weeks or when you see yourself plateauing or adjust ur diet to a tad more calories. Id lay off cardio if you do too much of it as it will hinder your progress if alot of it is done. Dont be scared to take a week off every 4-6 as this will also break you out of ur Plateau. SLEEP SLEEP and yes sleep some more as this is a very big part of it.
Conclusion
LIFT HEAVY ( I do 5-10 reps depending on part of the body)
Eat Clean
Sleep
