Default Stock stereo

Having an issue to where i just get static. Ive pulled the Surround and pulled out the Stereo as far as it would let me. and it seems all the wires are hooked up (i think) i have the stock antanna. getting tired of listening to the same damned CD's over and over haha
any help is greatly appriciated

make sure the thick (black) antenna wire is plugged in in the back, on the right. it tends to come unplugged if you pull the radio out too far

the antenna also has a junction behind the passenger side kick panel.
