Well, I like to tout directed electronics (you can see a pic of what I have a few posts down). I have their 6.5" componets up front, 6x9's in the rear and 2 10's in a sealed box. I'm running an older jvc mp3 player that I just can't seem to give up. It's going though a 2 channel amp for the componets and a mono amp for the 10's. It sounds very nice. It will rattle your nuts but is also very crisp and clean sounding.

I have a Kicker fetish. I would categorize them in the upper part of the middle-class of the mobile audio industry.
They have good products, just not the "best".
If you can find anyone with a system hooked up, ask to sit in the car and listen.

the Q-series from MBq is high end, but not top of the line. JL doesn't make anything top of the line, not really high end, IMHO. rainbow, focal, F1 status from alpine, and a few others are top of the line. but those are the rediculously expensive components. most are well over a grand.
