Default Radio problems

I was on the way home from the dealership where I got my 04 srt-4 when I went over some railroad tracks. The radio stopped, and would come on for a few seconds then go off again. I got home turned the car off waited a few seconds and tried it again and it worked fine. But since it has continued to go off for a while and come back on whenever it decides to. Also, the lights on the rear view mirror will not work when the radio isn't working. If I hit the clock button the time will pop up, so I have no idea what's going on. It has the stock radio. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you may have knocked a plug loose. Check your radio wire plug....

Thanks bud I will check and see. But, would that also make the rear view mirror lights not work? That's what has me confused.

Yep, I checked them all, and they are fine. Evidentally the lights, and radio are tied together somehow so I have to figure out where the problem is. I still haven't had time to check yet, but I don't think it's a loose connection on the radio. Today it hasn't worked at all. I bought the car last week, and I am taking it to the dealer to get a vent fixed, so I might see if they will take a look at it even though it's not under warranty.

if you bought the car last week they should fix the radio problem for you free of charge.
