Problem with speakers!No sound with volume up!

Hey guys im having a problem with my front driver side speaker and tweeter, im hoping you guys can help me out with this! everytime i start the car and volume is low all speakers are working and they sound good but when i try to turn the volume up alittle the front driver side speaker and tweeter stops working and i get no sound at all, i try fixing this by buying the kicker speakers package and still the same problem, the old owner of the car installed 2 cross over boxes,one on each door and had replace all the speakers for another brand "sound acoustic" or something like that its got an spyder on them plus on the trunk there's 2 cables that used to be connected to something they'r coming from the front thru the back seats. any kind of help would be appreciated!

You most likely have a speaker wire grounding out on metal somewhere for your drivers side speaker.
