Question pioneer premier 9600mp question

Is it TRUE that you can change the screen savers- stills on this unit. I've seen others with different backgrounds. Do you need software, Shareware? Or a blank data cd with the photos you want. thanks guys

First of all, the Pioneer Premier version would be the 960MP, not 9600MP. Second, this is a GREAT headunit for sound quality and to round off the system, and it would be a waste if you get it JUST for the screen saver. Third, the 960MP has a LOT of common problems with faceplate motors and ribbons breaking easily, and the 860MP has all the same audio features (just not sure about the Screen Saver) and would be the better choice if you don't want to be repairing it. Or you could get lucky with the 960MP, I've just heard a LOT of people with problems.

About the screen savers: Just a basic rundown, but you would insert a disk with your pictures on them (burned from your computer) and it would read them and upload them. There would be more detailed instructions in the manual.

had the 960MP before my alpine flipout and loved it UNTIL the ribbon cable (I assume) crapped the bed. Still my favorite H/U that I've owned. You can definitely upgrade the BGVs and photos as I had it done on mine. I'm forgetting exactly how it was done however.
