pic request: single din radio in place of cd changer - SRT Forums

I would like to see anyone who has replaced the cd changer/cubby hole with a single deck please. and if you could, can you post pics of any brackets you have made as well? Thanks in advance.

^^ Found this in another thread. Took the factory panel and modified it. Should give you a general idea.

thanks. i remember seeing that one but couldnt find that thread lol. think i am going to end up having someone fiberglass a housing for me so it will look decent..

Yeah I've been looking for the pic for a while as well, and ran across it looking for that cd changer delete panel. Fiberglass housing will look nice down there.

The one i did wasn't sticking out as far and i painted it eblue to match.

I did this with a cd player, made it fit behind the factory panel. Let me see if I can find a pic.

it would be sick if u did the console all in carbon fibre and incorporate the cd player into it

Im also not just looking for the finished product pics, but how you mounted the deck down there as well just to grab a few visual ideas.

I guess I don't have any pics of it but I just used a random dash kit that I modified.
